It's a nice movie. What makes it nice? It's a bit different from the other movies out there. It feels quite different actually. Nice? yes it is!..but is it any good? Read the following sentences to find your verdict!
The story is about this boy and girl. They met once in a school trip by chance. The boy was intrigued at the girl. Of course this girl would notice this, and she actually got "intrigued" too.
Blablabla cut scene.
The story revolves around the idea that if Destiny would not allow it, then it shall not be done. It's actually pretty amazing. I mean, our destiny is predetermined from the start anyway. Okokokokok. So let's move on shall we?
Some Minor flaws that I found. ( I mean if these are considered flaws ).
The story is shallow... at the same time it is not. The plot line suggests something that is bigger and yet it is not. It is not disappointing in a sense either, it's just blergh. The way the story is tackled in the movie would probably be the cause. Since I haven't read the book, I can not assume that the book was the same.
The story would probably have more impact if comedy wasn't added into the mix. The movie itself, even though with comedy, is good but the title shouts out heavy suggestions on metaphors. Which the story didn't tackle well.
err that's it.
The story has good points too. The way the consistency of each character was passed on. The way the characters develop was just right and was not forced at all.
It has actually very good transitions from scenes and the angles were able to provide the best areas. The acting was surprising. The accents and all. There are no real "good" points that are worthy of being praised, but that is because too much of over exposure could change the story.
Do watch the movie. Although the story falls because of "in-seriousness", I would rate this a 7/10 at the highest. This was forced up a bit too. Remember that the plot is the backbone of a story, and if it isn't strong enough, it can't support more than it can handle. Everything was good, also the plot too, but it's just not enough.
